Survey Designer
SurveyToGo 2007 includes a unique powerful designer
that enables you to create surveys for the windows mobile platform.
The designer includes a WYSIWYG interface with auto-preview feature. Designing
a form/survey does not require any programming knowledge and can be performed
easily. Choose from 14 question types, add chapters and create rules for
questions - All these are part of the survey design process. Once finished, the
survey is saved to the SurveyToGo Server and is ready for deployment. Simply
assign the survey to one of your surveyors and you are good to go. Once
the data has been collected, The designer can be used to export the results of
the survey to either Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SPSS, XML or Microsoft Word.

Mobile Surveys
SurveyToGo 2007 offers a unique solution for
creating, deploying, managing and analyzing mobile surveys and
field-data-collection forms. Using the advanced survey designer, a complex and
advanced field-data-collection solutions can be created & deployed
instantly. The SurveyToGo PDA module enables field-workers to conduct the
various surveys while on the field. Full offline/online capabilities allow for
a non-disturbed continuation of work regardless of the availability of network
connectivity. The PDA module includes an advanced user interface rendering
technology to efficiently display multiple questions per page or displaying
long questions/answers. Support for a backup/recovery module enables
field-workers to restore a device from a hard-rest to a fully working device
while being on the field. SurveyToGo PDA was built from the grounds up

'Designed For Windows Mobile' Certified
SurveyToGo 2007 was developed using the
latest and most advanced technology and was designed to meet the most demanding
industry standards. For this reason,
SurveyToGo was certified as 'Designed For Windows Mobile'
by the official Microsoft testing center.
Open Architecture
SurveyToGo 2007 is composed of the SurveyToGo Server,
the designer and the various surveying clients, as depicted in figure 5.

All the communications between the clients and the
server are through Web Services and contain built-in security and management
operations. The server component is in charge of deploying the various surveys
to the various surveyors while also storing the results of completed surveys.
The designer component is used to create new surveys and store them into the
server. The various surveying client components are in charge of
running/conducting the survey on the designated platform. They are also
responsible of sending results back to the server when possible.
SurveyToGo 2007 has been built with an open
architecture, supporting a .NET Framework API for easy creating 3rd party
add-on tools, exporters, extensions and easy integration with other systems.

Questions

Supports 14 question types

Chapters
|
Chapters are containers for questions. Chapters can
be hierarchical and can contain both questions and other chapters.

to be constructed based either on other questions, chapters or any other rule
expression. Rules control the flow of the survey.

Support for piping. Answers from one question can

Dynamic Question Text
|
Question texts (or parts of it) can be set
dynamically inside the survey. For example, you can ask the customer name in
one question, and then a personal question can be created that includes the
customer name in it.
